The Hospice of Saint John was founded in Denver in 1977 by Father Paul von Lobkowitz, O.S.J. As the second inpatient hospice program in the United States, the Hospice has cared for over 25,000 patients and their families. The Hospice of Saint John proudly offers an innovative, award-winning program. Years of experience have translated to knowledge, continuity and quality. We are accredited by The Joint Commission.

The Hospice of Saint John is more than just a facility. It is a program that provides continuity of care, encouraging individuals to live to the limits of their horizons. Our staff provides excellence in pain management and guidance through end-of-life issues in patients' homes, in nursing homes and in our inpatient care facility.
