Volunteer Information

We love our volunteers!

Volunteers play a critical role at the Hospice of Saint John.  We know that the role of a volunteer is vital to our program.  That's why we pay special attention to matching the unique qifts and talents of our volunteers to the needs of our patients.

Volunteers may work directly with patients in our inpatient care facility, in patients' homes, in nursing homes and in assisted living residences.  Volunteer duties may range from reading to patients, delvering mail, helping with daily activities, feeding patients, assisting with therapies, or simply providing emotional comfort by holding patients' hands.

Alternatively, volunteers may choose to assist with other tasks such as administrative duties, running errands, assisting staff, answering phones, gardening, and much more!

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and learning more about how we can match your talents to our program, please call us at 303-232-7900 or click below to apply.
